Price appointed new chief marketing officer for First Community Bank

BATESVILLE — First Community Bank recently announced the hiring of Carrie Price as senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said

Dale Cole, chairman and chief executive officer. Price will oversee and provide direction, guidance and leadership in the bank’s overall marketing efforts throughout Arkansas and Missouri. Price comes to First Community Bank with more than 16 years of banking experience. In her previous role, she served as the senior marketing officer at Southern Bancorp, where she had worked since 2007. Prior to Southern Bancorp, she worked as public relations manager for Elk Horn Bank.

Price is a member of the Emerging Leaders Council of the Arkansas Bankers Associatio­n and has been involved in numerous volunteer efforts. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in communicat­ion in 2004 from the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le. She and her husband, Nathan, have relocated to Batesville from Arkadelphi­a with their three children: Emmett, Boyd and Cora June.
