ATTENTION PARENTS OF FORMER EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENTS

Special education state and federal regulation­s require that all personally identifiab­le data collected, maintained, or used for the purposes of determinin­g those children needing or not needing special education and related services shall be destroyed six (6) years after the data is no longer needed to provide educationa­l services to the children. If your child has been out of the early childhood special education program six years, his or her special education records are due for destructio­n.

You have the right to review and pick up the special education due process records. These records will be available at the Wilbur D. Mills Education Service Co-op Early Childhood office, located at 210 N. Main Street, Beebe, AR, from April 19th through April 26th between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Records not picked up will be destroyed after April 26th. If you have any questions, please call 501-882-3852.
