Bruce Allen Calvert

Bruce Allen Calvert, age 79, of Conway, passed away peacefully at home, April 6, 2021. He was born November, 19, 1941 in Woodlawn, Ark., to the late Bart and Bobbie O’Briant Calvert. Bruce was a retired insurance salesman. He enjoyed going to church, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Lamar and Harry Dale Calvert.

He is survived by his wife, Ingrid Hoffmann Calvert; children, Lisa Calvert Hale (Gary), Mark Calvert (Jan), Paul Prince (Felecia), and Cindy Fortson (Steve); grandchildren, Zack Hale, Trey Prince, and Mia Fortson, great-granddaughter, Hadleigh Prince; sister, Peggy Calvert McCoskey; and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, with Bro. Steve Monk officiating, visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
