known as “Red”, was welcomed to heaven by his beloved wife, Wilma, and by Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior, April 3, 2021.

Red was born in Paris, Ark., February 27, 1927, the third son of Robert Underwood and Lena Roulston. The family moved to Lonoke, Arkansas, and Red married the love of his life, Wilma Johnson, August 23, 1947. He served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII, and then moved to Dallas, then Waco, Texas. In 1962, red and his family moved back to Central Arkansas, where he was in the upholstery business. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Dianne Ramsey and husband Kenny; daughter, Linda Lipsey and husband James; son, Haskell Underwood, Jr. and wife Sheila; grandchild­ren, Kenneth Ramsey, Jr. and Andrea Riggan, Matthew Lipsey and wife Rachel, Sarah Lipsey and husband Josh Johnson, and Lee Shaddix and wife Dina, five great-grandchild­ren, Madison Riggan, Meredith, Russel and Reagan Lipsey, and Hanna Shaddix. He is also survived by brother, Joe Underwood and wife Barbara, sister-in-law, Laverne Underwood, sister-inlaw, Clara Hester, brother-inlaw, Ernest Sheffield, and many nieces and nephews. Red was a long-time member of Apostolic Church of North Little Rock.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Lonoke Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the cemetery. To leave an online condolence for the family visit: www.boydfunera­lhome.net.
