CARLISLE — Al Travis Northcutt,

age 79, died April 5, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; one son, Alan Northcutt (Sharon) of Georgia; three grandchild­ren, Colyn Lex and Ryan Northcutt, all of Beebe, Ark., and numerous cousins. He was predecease­d in death by his parents, Al and Mary Lee Northcutt, and infant sister, Linda Lou.

He farmed rice, soybeans, and wheat for 53 years, retiring when he was 75 years old. He was a member of the Lonoke County Co-op Board of Directors for 36 years, serving offices of President, Vice President and Secretary during his tenure. He was also a member of Carlisle First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Carlisle First United Methodist Church on April 7, 2021, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery on Hwy. 236 in Carlisle, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carlisle First United Methodist Church, PO Box 417, Carlisle, Ark. 72024.
