89, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Trinity Village. She was born August 14, 1931, in Glendale, Ark., to Otto and Mary Will Smith Owen. She was retired from Sears after 43 years of service. She was an advocate for AA, a caretaker by nature, enjoyed baking with her grandchild­ren and playing shuffleboa­rd, and loved to travel-especially to Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Thomas Mayfield; five sisters, Helen Ballew, Carrie Mae McClinton, Pebble Watts, Evelyn Katherine Johnston, and Maxine Wooley; and two brothers, James Franklin Owen and Victor Leon Owen. Survivors include her sons, Paul Drake and wife, Mildred of Sheridan, Tony Drake and wife, Becky of Pine Bluff, and David Mayfield and wife, Jan of Pine Bluff; her daughters, Elaine Elmore and husband, Tommy of Pine Bluff, Willene Adams and husband, Jesse “Skeet” of Arkadelphi­a, Anita Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colo., Beverly Davis of Sheridan, Phyllis Davis of Cicero, New York, and Cindy Corrie and husband, Dan of Charleston, Illinois; her siblings, Herbert Owen, Joyce McFalls, Virginia Gillespie, and Eula Faye Hestand; 43 grandchild­ren; 60 great-grandchild­ren; six great-great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. Robert Cossey officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m., on Wednesday, at Ralph Robinson and Son. Memorial contributi­ons may be made to Arkansas Hospice.
