Up-and-coming Realtors cut teeth at new PorchLight branch

-

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Since PorchLight Realty opened its North Little Rock location last year, several burgeoning Realtors have launched their careers at the branch. The company provides real estate and property-management services throughout central Arkansas, and its first branch is in Cabot.

“Once I learned that PorchLight Realty was opening an office in North Little Rock and saw the people involved, I knew it was the place for me — an energetic company filled with integrity and a solid reputation,” said Ellen Weiner, who earned her Realtor license in June 2020. “I wanted to be on the ground floor of something very exciting.”

An active member of the central-Arkansas community for 25 years, Weiner said a real estate career is a natural fit for her love of people and background in sales and marketing.

“I have a passion for helping people achieve their dreams,” she added. “Helping people buy or sell their homes in order to meet their goals is a way to help others. I love to see the satisfaction it brings people.”

Another newbie agent, Sarah Jane McClary, earned her license in October 2020 after she was furloughed that March because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She said she finds joy in making others happy and believes it is an honor to guide clients through one of life’s largest purchases.

“As a new agent, I have the time, dedication and drive to serve my clients,” she said. “I always tell new clients, ‘I work when you don’t work,’ so if we have to go look at a house before 8 a.m., after 5 p.m. or on the weekend, I’m available. I will always make time for my clients.”

Bailey Lowrey, who earned her license in July 2019 and has a background in customer service and architectural design, said a real estate career allows her to join her love of people with her love of houses.

“I think being a good listener and support system is the best way to take care of my clients,” she said. “I always try to listen to a client’s wants and needs, then provide a plan on how to accomplish them. I want my clients to feel like they

were a main priority to me and that I made the homebuying or -selling process a stress-free process.”

She added that her background in design allows her to assist clients who are trying to picture themselves living in an abode. She said she most enjoys the excitement of closing day.

“PorchLight Realty is represented by some of the top agents in Arkansas and is one of the highestproducing agencies in central Arkansas,” she added. “I felt like surrounding myself with and learning from elite agents was the best way to succeed in this competitive business.”

Brook James, who earned her license in February, also brings design experience to the table. She has a degree in interior design and said her eye for residential design will come in handy during her real estate career.

“I know how much importance and meaning a home holds for me and my family, and being able to help other families find that in a home is something I am passionate about,” she said. “I love being able to help others, and what better way to do that than to assist people in buying or selling a home?”

She added that PorchLight mirrors her high standards of customer service and aligns with her personal values.

“I love that PorchLight Realty is a faith-based company and that we pride ourselves on customer care,” she said. “Jesus, family and people are what I am passionate about, and I feel like these things are important at PorchLight Realty as well. It is the perfect fit for me.”
