Woman, 28, ID’d as accident victim

Gena Liebman, 28, of Pine Bluff has been identified as the victim in a pedestrian fatality.

On Thursday about 10:20 p.m. officers were called to a pedestrian accident in the 4200 block of U.S. 65 South in Pine Bluff.

Upon arrival they found the body of a woman on the highway.

Authorities said an SUV was traveling south when the accident occurred.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:01 p.m. by Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher.

The driver was released without citations.
