ALEXANDER — Clifford Darrell Wakefield,

Alexander, Ark., age 73, passed away on April 14, 2021. Clifford was born August 5, 1947, in Little Rock, the son of the late Homer and Bertha Thornton Wakefield.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Leotta; daughter, Lisa (Chris) Taylor of Alexander; sons, Duane (Lisa) Wakefield and Darrell Wakefield all of Little Rock; ten grandchildren, Darrell, Jessica, Jamie, Christopher, Haley, Alex, Nicholas, Daniel, Victoria and Brianna; six great-grandchildren, Braxton, Brayden, Kasaria, Kasyn, Ella and Pyper; sisters, Jackie (Tim) Thornburgh and Joann (Bob) Wilkerson all of Alexander; brothers, Douglas Wakefield and Arthur (Tami) Wakefield all of Little Rock; several nieces and nephews. Clifford was predeceased by two sisters, Reba Jean Sanders and Mary Francis Haynes. Clifford was a great story teller and a member of the Serepta Hunting Club. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, April 19, 6-8 p.m., at Pinecrest Funeral Home, where funeral service will be Tuesday, April 20, 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Ark.
