66, Basketball Hall of Famer of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2021. He is preceded in death by ex-wife Debra Jo Gill Person; father, Rudolph Valentino Person, Sr. and grandson, Elijah Galbreath.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Mother, Rose Mary Holden Person Johnson; children, Timeca Person, Diondrea (James) Brown, LaJoy Person, Shifawn Person, Emmanuel Person and Derrick Person, Jr.; grandchildren, Daylon Person, Porsha and Tyliae Brown, Jermaine and Tramaine Johnson, Reginald Mayo, Jr., Tia, Mia and Dominic Galbreath, Joshua and James K. Brown; great-grandchildren, Nya and Ariyana Bennett, Brooklyn Brimley, Mackinne Smith; siblings, Rudolph Person, Jr. (Shirley), Gina Person Scott, Sharon Person Thompson, Kevin Person, Sheila Tucker, Robert Person, Michael Person, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Person will lie in state with a walk-through visitation today6–8 p.m., at Arkansas Baptist College Gymnasium. Family hour and walk-through visitation Friday 6–8 p.m., at Persons & Taylor Family Pearly Gates. Celebration Service Saturday 12 p.m., at Hall High School gymnasium.
