FAIRFIELD BAY — James Jeremiah “Jerry” Carlton,

age 84, passed on April 16, 2021, in Fairfield Bay, Ark. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Arthur and Ila, four brothers: Vernon, Alvin, Haskel, John, and one sister, Ernestine. He is survived by his wife, Verna, two children, Cynthia and Terry, two brothers, Austin and Tony, three grandsons: Bradley, Ryan, and Austin, and three great-grandchildren: Chloe, Gray, and Ace. He is remembered for his Catholic faith. He lived a full life and was a family man.

A private mass will be held for immediate family at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fairfield Bay. A public burial will follow on April 27, at 12:30 p.m., at Everett Cemetery in Prim. The family requests COVID-19 guidelines be followed.
