James Michael “Mike” Breazeale
James Michael “Mike” Breazeale, 67 years old, of Hot Springs, Ark., went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital.
Mike was born October 23, 1953, in Bastrop, La., to William David Breazeale and Jo Betty Breazeale Wasson. He graduated from Dollarway High School in 1971. Mike then worked as a Dental Technician in the Navy from 1971-1975. He was a 100% disabled veteran. Other occupations included a Licensed Tankerman for Exxon Mobile, Creator Crane Operator for Brown and Root Construction, and a Licensed Cosmetologist and Instructor for Pine Bluff Cosmetology School. He owned and operated Shear Creations Hair Salon for 23 years. After that he worked for New Hope Prosthetics and Orthotics until he retired.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Regina L Breazeale; daughter, Tammy Simpson (Jeremy); son, Joseph Breazeale (Jamie); grandchildren, Taylor (Blake) Williams, Tanner Ray, Alexis Coleman, Abigail Jones, Molly Bess Breazeale; great-grandchildren, Hud Williams, Amelia Williams; and sisters, Donna Thomas (Jim) and Vickie Terry (Mike).
Mike had a huge heart and was a man who knew family means everything. He loved to fish and hunt and loved football season. Mike loved the ocean. He was a joker and loved to pick. The more he liked you, the more he liked to pick at you. Mike was loved by all who had the opportunity to know him.
Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Monday at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center (2529 Airport Road).
A celebration of his life will be 10 a.m., Tuesday at CaruthHale Life Celebration Center (2529 Airport Road) with Bro. Dean Caldwell officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bob Broach, Adam Meiuer, Ron Powell, Jordan Galster, Terry Brodnax, Tim Cooney, Richard Lewis, Don Whitten, Jerry Llewellyn, Gary Tucker and Gabe Galster. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Stephens, Craig Powell.
