101, of Little Rock, passed from this life on August 17, 2021. He was born March 23, 1920, in Langley, Pike County, Arkansas, to the late Noel Thomas and May Lula Lanham. Mr. Lanham was a proud veteran of the United States Army who selflessly served his country during World War II. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. He enjoyed woodworkin­g

and was always tinkering with something. His career was spent as a Constructi­on Contractor, which led him to build many schools and churches among many other projects. Jack will always be remembered as an honest, hardworkin­g, generous, and loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, his wife, Myrtle “Peb” Lanham; son, Brent Lanham; grandsons, Matt Works, and Clyde Williams; granddaugh­ter, Tammy Chapman; and brother, Andy Lanham preceded him in death. Survivors include his children, Maxie (Clyde) Williams of New Orleans, Reva Myers of White Hall, Jackie Works of White Hall, Judy Talley of White Hall, and Kent (Nina) Lanham of Cabot. Other survivors include eleven grandchild­ren, twenty-six great-grandchild­ren, thirteen great-greatgrand­children, brother, Robert Lanham of West Memphis; and sister, Martha Fay Read of Monticello; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be 12 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2021, at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Doctor Jordan Ferriss officiatin­g. Mr. Lanham will lie in state on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 8:30 am until 4 p.m., at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72114, for those who may wish to call.
