Judith Hawk,

age 61, peacefully passed into her Savior’s arms on September 9, 2021, in Benton, Ark., in the care of her uncle Joe and close friends.

Judith was born November 2, 1959, in Burlington, Iowa, to Alan Hawk and Elizabeth Stodt Hawk. She was preceded in death by both her parents and sister, Lorry Hawk King. She was survived by her step-dad, Bill McGriff, Uncle, Joe Stodt, sister, Valorie and many friends who loved her dearly.

Judith was employed by Arkansas Dept. of Health in Grant Co. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Benton, where she loved her church family. Judith loved working in her gardens, canning pickles and beets, taking trips with her friends, driving her step-dad’s T-Bucket, playing cards with her step-dad and uncle Joe and hanging out with her friends at Starbucks. Her heart was her dog and friend, Darby, who was by Judy’s side constantly during her illness. Judy was a blessing to her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Special thank you to Becky Addison, her dear friend, for her love and care. She was there for Judy from the beginning of her illness and nursed her until her last breath. Also a special thanks to Tarja Maitland who was also with Judy along her journey and loved her so. Thank you, uncle Joe who took Judy home with him so he and her friends could be by her side until God took her home. Rest in peace Judy, you will be missed dearly.
