CABOT — Cory “Kaitlyn” Pichon,

24, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. She was born June 2, 1997 in North Little Rock to Corey Lee and Stephanie Anne (Walker) Long. Kaitlyn was a 2015 graduate of Cabot High School. She was a fun-loving person. Kaitlyn enjoyed playing volleyball, softball and basketball with a competitiv­e spirit. She was a medical assistant and was currently pursuing her nursing degree. Kaitlyn was compassion­ate about every patient she encountere­d and aspired to make their lives better. She was known to be stubborn, fearless and hard-headed, but she loved fiercely.

Kaitlyn lived her life completely unafraid to be herself. Her best friend was her sister, Shelbi, who adored her and was her best secret-keeper. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter and friend who loved her family dearly. Kaitlyn was preceded in death by her great-grandparen­ts, Phyllis and Buck Keener.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of seven years, Tyler Pichon; children, Charlee May, Tanner Maylee and Cam Walker Pichon; parents, Corey and Stephanie Long; sister, Shelbi Anne Long; brother, Gregory Allen (Cherie) Holland; sister-inlaw, Emily Pichon; mother-in-law, Kelly Buchanon; father-in-law, Keith Pichon; grandparen­ts, J.L. and Darlene Walker, Jo Long, Roy and Kay Long as well as many extended family members and friends.

Kaitlyn will be sorely missed and a piece of our hearts will be gone forever until we meet again, sweet angel. We will never forget you and a piece of you will remain with us forever.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, with a memorial service following at 4 p.m. The family requests donations be made to The Kaitlyn Pichon Memorial Fund at Centennial Bank, 2171 West Main Street, Cabot, Ark. 72023.
