Sis. JEROME SALLY GILBERT,

89, of Little Rock, Ark., left us to meet the Lord on November 1, 2021. Jerome was born in North Little Rock, Ark., on May 13, 1932, to the late Jerome Hubble and Josie Sally.

She was baptized and added to the Church of Christ in 1950, and she remained a faithful member of the Church until the Lord called her home. She was a God-fearing, Christian woman who touched thousands through her life and example.

Jerome Sally and Ealgie Gilbert Sr. were married on April 1, 1950. They were blessed with nearly 69 years of marriage prior to Ealgie’s death in March of 2019.

She leaves behind her children, Wayne Lee of Baton Rouge, La., Erma Dell Savage of Little Rock, Clara (Kenneth) Collins of Little Rock, Ealgie “Jack” (Sandra) Gilbert, Jr., of Little Rock, Larry (Brenda) Gilbert, Sr., of Little Rock, Annette Gilbert of Little Rock, and Adron (Gwen) Gilbert of Little Rock; 45 grandchild­ren; 35 great-grandchild­ren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held from 12-5 p.m., Friday November 4, 2021, followed by a family hour from 6-7 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary, 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock Ark. 72209. A home-going burial service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2021, at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8507 Old Jacksonvil­le Hwy 161 North Little Rock, Ark. 72117. A celebratio­n service honoring Jerome’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat, November 5, 2021 at the Central Church of Christ at 823 W. 6th St. Little Rock, Ark. 72201.
