BENTON — Christine Marie Chism,

61, of Benton, Ark., passed away on November 7, 2021, to be with her Lord and Savior. Christine was born in 1960 on Long Island, N.Y., to parents George Whipple and Jean Randolph. The family relocated to Arkansas when Christine was a young woman, where she went on to meet her loving husband of 39 years, Jimmy Ellis Chism.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Holly Springston and Rebecca Walker; sons-in-law, Shane Springston and Tyler Walker; beloved granddaughters, Maya and Daphne Walker; along with siblings, Kathleen Scott, Jay Whipple, Jim Whipple, Bill Whipple, George Whipple, and Scott Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Robert Whipple.

Christine had a passion for music, baking, and, above all, her family. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home.
