MADERA, Calif. — Dennis Leon Foster,

78, passed on October 20, 2021, at his home in Madera, California. He was born to Wilbur and Myrtle in Redfield, Ark., on September 13, 1943. He was one of nine children. Dennis leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Mary. His two children, Linda Zacharia and Danny Mertens. His eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great- great-grandchildren. His sister, Karla Sue Champagne and brother, Richard Foster. Dennis worked at Phoenix Trucking in N. Little Rock up until his retirement. He served in the Army and was a member of the Redfield American Legion and lifetime member of the VFW. Funeral services with military honors will be November 20, 2021, at 10 a.m., at the Redfield Cemetery.
