JOHN ROBERT FIELDS,

passed away November 8, 2021, at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Floy Fields of Ozark, Ark.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy and her husband Jim Lewis of Clarksville, Ark., his nephews, Lindsey and his wife Sarah Lewis and daughter, Abby and his nephew, Preston Lewis and daughter, Aurora. John was born in Houston, Texas, April 16, 1946. He graduated high school in Ozark, Ark., and Arkansas Tech University in 1967.

After teaching high school in Little Rock, Ark., he served in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot during the Vietnam War. John’s love of flying continued by teaching others to fly. A family service will be observed at a later date.
