Beverly Ann Perchan of Coppell, Texas, passed away on November 20, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on October 11,1949. Miss Perchan is the daughter of George and Halovee Perchan, deceased. Beverly is survived by her sisters, Debi Perchan LaMarr, Susan Perchan Kennedy, and Georgia Perchan Burns. Other survivors include her nieces and nephews, Georgia Leigh Cotton (Joseph), Katie Horn (Ethan), Kristen Glasser (Lee), Brett Burns, Leslie Burns and Jill Burns. Great-nephews are Liam and Reed Cotton, and great-niece is Kennedy Horn. While growing up in Pine Bluff, Beverly enjoyed Girl Scouts, horseback riding, swimming, and tennis. She shared her joy of swimming by teaching numerous children how to swim at Rosswood Country Club. In 1967, Miss Perchan graduated from Pine Bluff High School where she sang in the A Capella Choir using her beautiful, rich alto voice. She majored in Art at the University of Arkansas, where she sang in the select chorus, Schola Cantorum. After graduating with a B.A. in 1971, Beverly continued her education earning a M.Ed. in 1973. Afterwards, Beverly moved to Texas to be closer to her sisters. She enjoyed playing tennis and participat­ing in The Dallas Sailing Club. Beverly was known for her beautiful smile, warm heart, and sense of humor. Miss Perchan will be honored on December 11, 2021, in McKinney, Texas, by her sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
