BENTON — Ronnie Carrol Lambert,

-

75 of Benton, Ark., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, December 27, 2021. He was born on March 6, 1946 in Little Rock.

Ronnie graduated from Benton High School in 1964, attended Henderson State University and proudly served in the United States Navy. Ronnie was a master electrician and the longtime owner of Alley Electric Company. He retired from McCarthy Construction Company in St. Louis, Mo., in 2005 where he served as Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Project Manager on commercial construction projects around the country.

He always enjoyed the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, golf, coaching his daughters’ softball teams, grandchildren’s sporting events, weekends at the lake or working in the yard. Ronnie loved attending horse racing at Oaklawn and was always up for a trip to race tracks in other states. The mountains and wilderness had always been his favorite vacation spots until his wife introduced him to the beach and especially the US Virgin Islands. It became one of his favorite relaxation spots. But travel was something he and Pam took every opportunity to do and they had the pleasure of visiting many states. Travel with his children and grandchildren was something he especially looked forward to doing. He took each grandchild on a cruise for their 13th birthday and so many incredible memories were made on each trip. His world lit up in October with the arrival of his first great grandchild.

Ronnie was devoted to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Melva Lambert. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Pam; two daughters, Christy Carol Trickey and Carrie Richey (Scott); four grandchildren, Joee May (Christian), Betsy Carrol Richey, Cade Trickey and Cason Trickey; a great-granddaughter, Charlee May, all of Benton. He also leaves behind his fur baby, Sophie.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rhonda Gentry and her team as well as Dr. Brad Baltz and his team for their love and support over the years. Thanks also to the team at MD Anderson in Houston.
