AUSTIN — Helen Ruth Moyers Kyle,

80, of Austin, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

She was born January 27, 1941, in Nashville, Ark., to the late Rev. William Roy Moyers and Dorothy Helen Colburn Moyers.

Helen was raised in a Methodist minister’s household and lived in many different places growing up. She graduated from Springdale High School in Springdale, Ark. She also attended Hendrix College and Arkansas State University. Helen retired from a career of more than thirty years of service as a Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Home Administra­tor. She loved people and had a special calling taking care of the elderly and always having a listening ear to help families deal with such hard decisions they had to make for their family members.

She was of Methodist faith and a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church in Cabot, Ark. She loved her church family and would try to help with anything she was able to do. Her hobbies included painting with water colors, feeding and watching birds, and enjoying the companions­hip she had with her three Yorkies: Buddy, Missy & Trey. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years, Wes Kyle; and step-grandson, Edward Vanderver.

She is survived by her daughter, Molly Burgess (Berry) of Bigelow, Ark.; son, Charles Grayson Mixon (Lisa) of Austin, Ark.; daughter, Cindy Vanderver (Jerry) of England, Ark.; son, Mike Kyle of Gravel Ridge, Ark.; twelve grandchild­ren; thirty great-grandchild­ren, and one great-granddaugh­ter on the way; sister, Marina Gayle King of Lubbock, Texas; niece, Gina Murer of Lubbock, Texas; nephew, Eric Woodlee of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-niece, Emerson Murer of Lubbock, Texas; great-nephew, King Murer of Lubbock, Texas; aunt, Betty Hess of Winchester, Va.; and several cousins.
