LARA LYNN LAVENDER LICHTENWAL­NER,

54, of North Little Rock, passed away on January 9, 2022, at her home. She was born on January 15, 1967, in Little Rock.

Lara grew up in Little Rock and graduated from McClellan High School in 1985. She spent four years in the United States Army and was stationed in South Carolina and Hawaii. Lara was most proud of her children and grandchild­ren. She loved watching football and her “Stories”. Lara was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in North Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Lavender; mother, Tina Jafari; and sister, Jenny Lavender.

Lara is survived by her daughter, Heather (Preston) Corchado of Fresno, Calif.; son, Luke (Kirstin) Lichtenwal­ner, Jr. of Fresno, Calif.; sister, Ashley Lavender (Jimmy) of Benton, Ark.; brother, Mike Lavender of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; stepmother, Gail Lavender of Bryant, Ark.; grandsons, Preston Corchado, Jr., and Chase Lichtenwal­ner; niece, Grace Lavender; companion, Mark Boyd; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in Lara’s honor.
