84, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.

Rebecca was born on November 27, 1937, to James and Gardna Gill. She lived most of her life in Richmond Hill and was a longtime resident of Magnolia Manor on the Coast. She earned an Associate’s Degree from the University of Georgia and retired from Civil Service on Fort Stewart. She was a faithful member of Richmond Hill First Baptist Church. Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, and great-grandmothe­r. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Perry, Sr.; son, William L. Perry, Jr.; parents, James and Gardna Gill; and sister, Cynthia Fussell.

Rebecca is survived by her son, Dan G. Perry (Marijean) of Conway, Ark.; four grandchild­ren: Stephanie Bullock (Nick) of Titusville, Fla., Ryan Bowman of Russellvil­le, Ark., Karen Perry of Libertyvil­le, Illinois, and Kristen Wilson (Randy) of Savannah, Ga.; nine great-grandchild­ren; daughter-in-law, Trudy Perry of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; and three nephews: Bruce Fussell (Suzanne) of Guyton, Ga., Brian Fussell (Angie) of Jasper, Ga., and Tom Fussell (Rev. Maj. USAF) (Anna) of Tipp City, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour and a half prior to the service. Burial will immediatel­y follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Richmond Hill.
