FLORENCE CLARA BANASZAK SZPARAGA,

97, of North Little Rock passed away January 10, 2022. She was born to the late Louis and Mary Banaszak on November 24, 1924, in Madison, Illinois. Florence worked at Timex, Levi Strauss, and retired from Target. She was a life-long member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and member of the Rosary Sodality. Florence enjoyed working outside, sewing for her family, watching sports and spending time with her family.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Szparaga; and siblings, Francis Pasierb, Elizabeth Pruss, Martha Wilk, Della Gubanski, Veronica Kaplon, Margaret Piechocki, August Banaszak, and Alois Banaszak.

Survivors include daughters, Jeannette Freyaldenh­oven, Diane Burnett, and Rita Dixon; grandchild­ren, Patrick Burnett, A.J. Burnett, Kimberly Gardner, J.B. Dixon; and great-grandchild­ren, A. J. Jr., Ashton, Matthew, Cameron, Bradley, Zachary, Emily, Mallory, Madison, Bo, Evie, and Weston; sisters, Angeline Kaplon and Carolyn Evans; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Rosary is 10 a.m. with a Visitation at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mass will follow at 11 a.m., with burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
