HOT SPRINGS — Danna Gale “Ms. Bear” Barracloug­h,

72, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. She was born May 29, 1949, in Pine Bluff, to the late Roy and Aline (Hollis) Burrough. Danna was an honor graduate at UAM, class of 77, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree, where she became a member of Alpha Chi. Then earned her Master’s Degree from the UofA in education. Danna retired after 35 years of teaching at many schools across the state.

Her sisters, Lanna Sharon Burrough and Shelda Burrough, precede her in death. Survivors include her husband, Raymond A. Barracloug­h; children, Stacey Davis (Jason) and Ryan Barracloug­h (Regina); brother, Roy Steve Burrough (Diane); grandchild­ren, Nathan Davis, Caitlin Davis, Melody Barracloug­h, Rayden Barracloug­h, and Haley Barracloug­h and two step-grandchild­ren, Tiffany Lippert and Bradley Ross.

A memorial Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Gross Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n, alz.org/arkansas. Guests may register at: www.grossfuner­alhome.com
