OPPELO — Woodrow Howard Shoelen,

age 91, of Oppelo, Ark., passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. He was born April 20, 1930, in Luxora, Arkansas, the son of Henry Shoelen and Anna Sharp Nelson. He was the widower of Janet Turnage Shoelen. He was a painter, spent 15 years with the Conway County Mounted Patrol, and was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Patrick (Linda) Shoelen of St. Vincent. Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, at Wolf Cemetery with Bro. John Williams officiating.
