CONWAY — Carolyn Dillion,

84, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was born on February, 28, 1937, to Auby and Alice Sloan in Arkadelphia, Ark. She graduated from Arkadelphia High School and Ouachita College, with a major in Home Economics. She went on to be a teacher and took great pride in being able to teach students how to care for their families. Many of her former students stayed in touch and that meant a lot to her. After 25 years of teaching, she worked for AMPI in the dairy industry, doing nutrition consulting which she loved. She married Jackie Dillion in August, 1960, and enjoyed 58 years of great marriage. She was preceded in death by, Jackie Dillion and is survived by her son, Michael Dillion, daughter-in-law, Mendy Dillion, brother, Don Sloan and family. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Conway, Ark. There will be no service because she donated her body to UAMS to continue her teaching career.
