RUTH FITZGERALD BUNCH,

92, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away on January 13, 2022. She was born on January 20, 1929, in Malvern, Arkansas to E.R. and Amanda Fitzgerald.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Jack Bradford Bunch; siblings, Dennis and Raymond Fitzgerald.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, LaNita (Rodger) Woods; brother, Paul (Penny) Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law, June Fitzgerald and Viola Fitzgerald; many nieces, nephews and her church family.

Ruth taught Women’s Sunday school class for many years at Amboy Baptist and Baring Cross Baptist Church and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She taught music lessons and played piano, organ, ukulele and dulcimer. Ruth was a member of a group of Christian musicians who played music and encouraged residents of local nursing homes and Senior Citizen Centers.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2022, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with funeral service to begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Corinth Cemetery in Sheridan. Online guestbook www.SmithFamilyCares.com
