Avanell Faye Squires (1920-2020)

On September 23, 1920, the world was blessed with the birth of a most remarkable person– Avanell Squires, a woman of extraordinary humility and wisdom, which grew and grew for a total of 99 years. Oh, how those who knew her benefited! We now have her memory and spirit to guide us on our paths.

Her spirit (with all its wisdom) is seen on the wind as it rustles through the trees of knowledge, touching our souls. The light from her spirit is marking the paths of righteousness, which will lead us mortals to the gates of Heaven. She had a love of God so strong within her soul: so true to the Lord, so full of grace—what an attitude of the soul.
