VICTORIA “VICKI” KARRANT BURKETT,

age 75, of Little Rock, passed away on March 16, 2022, after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born on February 19, 1947, in Fort Smith, Ark., she was the daughter of Sam and Mary Lianos Karrant.

She graduated from Northside High School and attended the University of Arkansas before graduating from the University of Alabama. She was active in her Sunday school class at Immanuel Baptist Church.

Vicki was a member of the Wildflower Garden Club and Junior Department­al Club. She loved to paint and enjoyed her book club. Vicki was full of energy and never stopped moving. From swimming, to pilates, to early morning walks with her dogs, she was active and on the move until her illness took over. Vicki added much color and joy to the world, and she will be greatly missed. We remember her as classy, gracious, loving and fun. Her zest for life was infectious and her joy was contagious. Her family feels blessed to have shared her world and finds comfort in believing that everyone who knew her has a “Vicki story” in their memories.

She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Don; her son, Donell Burkett, and daughter, Courtney Burkett Jones and her husband, Matt, all of Little Rock; grandchild­ren, Gabe Burkett, Houston, Texas, Eve Burkett, Tempe, Ariz., and Magnus Kajevski, Little Rock, her brother, John Karrant and his wife, Karri, Fort Smith, Ark., and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Services and visitation will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, in Little Rock. Funeral service will be Monday, March 28, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, March 27, from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be 1 p.m., at Pinecrest Memorial Park following the funeral.
