TRACY LYNN CHANDLER,

age 54, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on June 25, 2022. An Arkansas native, he was an avid horseman, hunter, and fisherman who loved country life and being in nature.

He was a member of First Assembly in North Little Rock. Known for his faith in the Lord, he sought ways to encourage others and make them laugh. A big, bold and confident man, Tracy was also a deeply devoted husband and father. He always made certain every member of his family and each of his friends knew he cared about them.

For the past 17 years, he worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he held a reputation of being hard-working and highly reliable. He initially began his career there at the Little Rock National Cemetery before spending the bulk of those years as a licensed boiler plant operator at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Engineerin­g Service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lyndle Key Chandler. He is survived by his wife of almost 21 years, Dawn Dyson Chandler, who was the love of his life; their daughter, Caroline Chandler, who was his “precious baby”; his dear mother, Carolyn Abbott; his dear siblings, Pam Gillespie, Jeff Chandler (Alison), and Brian Chandler; nieces; nephews; and a host of friends and other family.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral at 10 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, at First Assembly of God, 4501 Burrow Road, North Little Rock. Online guestbook at www.SmithFamil­yCares.com.
