was born to Henry and Vera Forrest of Earle, Ark., October 5, 1951. In 1969, he graduated from Dunbar High School before attending The University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communicat­ions in 1973. Shortly before starting his career, He met the love of his life, Ruby Black, and they spent 48 years working together as they built their family. On Henry’s birthday in 1974, Shawn Forrest was born. Henry served his community by working in law enforcemen­t with Arkansas State Police for 12 years, and championin­g male youth basketball through AAU, and as the Chief Bailiff for the First Division Circuit Court. Service for Mr. Henry Forrest will be held at the Greater Second Baptist Church 5615 Geyer Springs Rd. Little Rock, Ark., 11 a.m., Nov. 19, 2022. Burial Service Elm Lawn Cemetery 5900 W. 12th Street Little Rock, Ark. The family would like to thank everyone for all acts of kindness shown to them in this hour of bereavemen­t.
