FAIRFIELD BAY — Samuel (Sam) Warner Lister,

77, of Fairfield Bay, Ark., passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Sam was born in Fort Smith, Ark., to Mary Warner and Donald Lister on September 27, 1945. He was a loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, great grandfathe­r, brother, uncle and friend.

Sam proudly served as a CWO2 in the U.S. Army Reserves for 18 years. His 35+ year career was spent as Safety Director for multiple logistics companies. He was well known as “Safety Sam.” His hobbies included riding his Gold Wing Motorcycle, camping, boating on the lake, and enjoying his coffee sitting on his front porch swing.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, William (Bill) Lister; brothers, Donald (Guy) Lister, Allen Bidwell; brother-in-law, David Burnett; and his beloved granddaugh­ter, Emma Gayle Noblitt. He is survived by his wife, Belinda; his sons, Phillip, Allen (Melissa), and Kevin Lister; his daughter, Tamara Lister; his grandchild­ren, Hunter Huff and Brooklyn Scott; his sisters, Lorri (Lister) Burnett and Heidi (Lister) Harrall; step sons, Jonaus and Cody Houston; step-grandchild­ren, Preston Clearwater, Emily, Malorie, Devin, and Aubrie Houston; stepgreat-grandson, Jaxson Clearwater; several nieces and nephews; and a slew of faithful friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home 601 W. Main St. Heber Springs, Ark., 72543. www.olmstead.cc.
