Recently, Broadmoor Elementary School students Marched on Washington (street) calling for an end to bullying and violence on school campuses. Micheal Williams, Pine Bluff High School head football coach, also addressed bullying and negative behaviors, according to the Rev. Jesse Turner, executive director of Pine Bluff Interested Citizens for Voter Registrati­on Inc. The Positive Behavior Interventi­on Strategy was sponsored in part by the 400 Years of African American History Commission’s ‘Writing A New History’ mentoring movement ‘From Nonviolenc­e to No Violence,’ the Woodson Center Community Affiliate Network, and the Pine Bluff Faith Community Coalition Ministeria­l Alliance Pastors on Patrol faith based mentors.
