67, of Judsonia was called home on Thanksgivi­ng Day after sharing a meal, laughter, and joking with her family. April was born April 1, 1955, in Flint, Mich., the daughter of Audrey and Don Hauck. She went to school in Flint, Mich., and worked at General Motors.

April moved to Arkansas in 1978. She served in the Arkansas Air National Guard for four years as a water tester in all of the missile sites in Arkansas during the

Cold War. After that, she worked at Maybelline/L’Oreal USA for 15 years and never missed a day, and had her own parking space.

April was diagnosed with two Stage IV cancers after having an auto accident 18 months later. She was on long term disability for 15 years. April volunteere­d her time to help CASA to help children and check on foster parents with children before placement or returning to their families. She was a child’s advocate.

April loved to cook and provide for others. She was full of agape, love, (selfness). Feeding kids and people was her passion. Smiles around the table was her reward. She loved her children, grandchild­ren, and great-grandchild­ren. If you loved her knew her she loved your kids too. She also loved animals.

April was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Steve Hauck; and two sisters, Sue Davis and Terry Connor.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip: her cats, Blue, Glofty, and Princess; her sister, Deborah Lowry and her family, Heather, Andrew, Carter, Rebecca, Hailey, Anna, and Gavin; sister Ruth (Jim) Frye and family, John (Mericlare), Katie, Colton, James, Jacob (Vanesssa), Dakota, Ellie, Katelynn, Makayla, Miranda, Lukas, Denver, Elizabeth and Morgan; her sister, Therese Pease (Mark Conners) and her family, Shannon, Tyler, Marissa, Elizabeth, Donald (Erica), Nathan, Trevor, Aidan; her sister Susan’s family, Steve Davis, Scott, Aleah, Gaige, Stacy, Maegan, Emma Sue, and Joshua; her brother Steven’s family, Kelly, Devin, Aidan, Alexia, Rebecca, Olivia, Stephanie (John), Christian, Trevor, Beth, Angelica, and Caden; her brother Timothy Hauck (Melba), and family, Trisha, Amira, Alayna, and Liam.

She is also survived by the Crans family: Jennifer CransBrown (Tony), Darian (Erica) Mateo, Michael, Jordan, Joshua (Heather), Gaia, Maya, Kathryn Crans, Jon Crans (Jillian), Citrus Racheal, Luc, Liam, and Oliver: four kids, nine grandchild­ren, and two great-grandchild­ren: Peter Crans (Sue), Derek Ash, Nicole, Kay Crans (Larry Pope), Dustyn Shelbee (Payton), Tucker, L.C., Kelci. Perry Crans (Lottie), Christophe­r, Timothy, Patrick Crans (Lynn), Jay, Trevor (Rebekah) and girls Taylor Massa (Cale), Addison.
