CONWAY — Pamela Curry

-

was born in New Kensington, Pa., November 25, 1959. On November 27, 2022, Pam went to be with her Lord and Savior after a brave nine-year battle with ALS.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis F. Phoebus; mother, Glorice Dodds Phoebus and sister, Brenda Phoebus Richter. Survived by her loving husband, Rodney Curry and loving daughters, who were the joy of her life, Sarah Franklin (Jacob Franklin) of Conway and Jillian Richardson (Mark Richardson) of Little Rock; five grandchildren, who she loved beyond words, Emmett, Finley, Hayes, Sutton, and Isla, and a brother, Scott Phoebus of Gaithersburg, Md.

She started her career as a nurse in CCU at Baptist in Little Rock, then worked for Conway schools for 23 years as a school nurse. She loved taking care of the children and loved her coworkers. She was the epitome of a servant. She had such a genuine love for people. Her joy was evident in all things. She was the greatest of all time as a mother and grandmother. She set the bar and she will be missed beyond words. She was so grateful to all her dear friends, who visited her, who loved her, prayed for her, decorated for her, and brought meals.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and ALS Association of Central Arkansas.

A Celebration of life will be held December 8, 2022, at Grace United Methodist Church in Conway at 2:00pm.
