ROGERS — Judith “Judy” Anderson Wright,

age 87, of Rogers. Ark., born in Hot Springs, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2022. She was born on March 19, 1935, to William “Bill” McCree Anderson and Mary Elizabeth “Murbie” Stafford Anderson.

Judy was a fifth- and sixthgrade science and math teacher at Lake Hamilton Middle School for over 25 years. She enjoyed running, exercising, classes at the YMCA, and cruising with her husband, Walter, in their party barge on Lake Hamilton. She served faithfully at The Jackson House in Hot Springs as a volunteer, and many years as its President. Judy was a long-time member at First Presbyteri­an Church in Hot Springs, where she served as a circle leader, elder, and teacher of the Bethel Bible Study Class.

She is survived by her son, Walter Gene Wright, Jr.; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bunker Zaba; daughter, Robin Wright Barlow; grandson, Brooks Barlow; grandson, Walter “Walt” Wright, III; granddaugh­ter, Jillian Barlow-Jorge; grandson, Braeden Barlow; grandson; William “Will” Wright; grandson, Brendan Barlow; and granddaugh­ter, Molly Wright.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First Presbyteri­an Church (downtown), Hot Springs, Ark. There will be a reception following in the Fellowship Hall. Online condolence­s can be made at www.callisonlo­ughfh.com.
