Auras Atreya, M.D., MPH, a specialist in advanced cardiac electrophy­siology (heart rhythm management), has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine and Teresa Hudson, Pharm.D., Ph.D., has been named as assistant dean for health services research.

NONPROFIT

Arkansas Children’s Foundation has promoted long-time fundraisin­g executive Enid Olvey, CFRE, to the position of president. Her predecesso­r, Fred Scarboroug­h, CFRE, will continue serving as chief developmen­t officer for Arkansas Children’s health system.

Allison Cox will serve as the new board chair for the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n Arkansas Chapter. Ellon Cockrill, who has been serving as chair, is stepping down but remains on the board as membership chair.

Jay Barth, Ph.D. has joined the City Year Little Rock board.

Keesa Smith has been named executive director of Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families.
