70, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2023, in complete contentmen­t having lived a joyful and fulfilling life.

He was born April 6th, 1952, to Carl Edwin (Jr) and Ruth Anne Bratcher in Little Rock. Don had a great love and trust for the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Second Presbyteri­an Church. He was a Hall High and U of A graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

During his career he was a CPA for Russell Brown Co., Financial Controller for McClelland Geotechnic­al Engineers in Saudi Arabia, Accounting Director for USAA Life Insurance Co, and Financial Examiner for several state regulatory insurance department­s in Delaware and Arkansas. Don loved studying the Bible and particular­ly with Bible Study Fellowship for nine years.

He was enthusiast­ic about sports and a big fan of the Razorbacks and the Miami Dolphins. He also loved to play golf.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Carl Edwin “Sonny” Bratcher Jr II, and Gary Gene “River” Bratcher.

A thank you to St. Vincent Hospital and Hospice Comfort Care Center on Bowman Road for their excellent care during his illness. Also, a special thanks to his many friends for their prayers and support.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11, in the chapel of 2nd Presbyteri­an Church in Little Rock.
