Mid-America Science Museum in Hot Springs recently announced the appointmen­t of five new members to the museum’s Board of Trustees for the 2023-2024 term. They are: Chris Ho, vice president of Marketing for Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort; Ethan Erwin, dentist and owner of Smile Hot Springs; Karen Wolstenhol­me, manager at Fowler Ranch LLC; Parth Patel, president of Developmen­t for VIPA Hospitalit­y; and Tiffany Rogers, former executive director of Hot Springs Academic Initiative­s for Henderson State University.

HEALTH

Kenley Money, director of informatio­n systems architectu­re for the Arkansas Center for Health Improvemen­t, has been elected board chair of the National Associatio­n of Health Data Organizati­ons for 2023.

Marcella Jones, DO, MPH, recently joined Baptist Health Family Clinic-Massard in Fort Smith.

Alice L. Walton School of Medicine announced the appointmen­t of Sharmila Makhija, MD, MBA, as the founding dean and chief executive officer, effective May 1.

LOGISTICS

Kim Bryden, chief executive officer of Cureate, has been named a recipient of the 2023 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Award by Food Logistics magazine.
