MORRILTON — Norma Jean Carolina

was born July 25, 1943, to the late L.T. and Bernice Rosbia Foster.

She went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2023. Norma gained her education from LW Sullivan. She attended dietitian school in Morrilton, Ark.

Norma Jean Carolina also attended cake design school. She was so talented in her cake designs. She designed birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and other desserts throughout Conway County.

Norma worked at Morrilton Manor Nursing Home and Brookridge Nursing Home. She worked at both nursing homes a total of 40 years. She worked at South Conway County School District until her retirement.

Norma’s faith in God began at an early age and she was a member at Greater Union Hill Baptist Church, in Morrilton, Ark., under Pastor IM McClouds. She was a dedicated choir member, Sunday School Teacher, a member of Woman of Faith, and a Mother of the church. She enjoyed singing praises to God with her family, The Foster Family Choir.

Norma married the love of her life, Johnnie F. Carolina in 1963 and they remained united until her transition to glory. Norma and Johnny were blessed to be married 59 years. To this union three children were born: Patricia, Johnny H, and Spencer Carolina.

Norma Jean Carolina was preceded in death by her parents: L.T. And Bernice Rosbia Foster, four brothers, Willie James Foster, Willie Lee Foster, Larry Allen Foster, Tommy (TL) Foster, one daughter Patricia Carolina Camberlen, and two grandchild­ren John Camberlen and Pierre Carolina.

As a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmothe­r, family member and friend, she leaves to cherish her beloved memory; her husband Johnnie F. Carolina, her children Johnny H.(Letitia) Carolina of Jonesboro, Ark., Spencer(Maria) Carolina of Plano, Texas, Grand Children: Qushona Carolina, Ryan Carolina, Aesha Morris, Spencer Carolina, Jr., Jade Carolina, Great Grandchild­ren: Jeremiah Brooks, Janiece Carolina, Keenan Rudd, I’yannah Camberlen, Josiah Hellums, Rylee Carolina, brothers and sisters: Helen Bowens, John(Catherine) Foster, Betty Foster, Ivory(Norman) Bell, Betty(Raymond) English, Marlene Hardiman, Lee Foster of Morrilton, Ark., Caldean Foster of Plummervil­le, Ark., and three Special Friends; Barbara Carolina, Chukola Carolina, Alferetta Lynch and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and beloved friends.
