age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023.

Floyd was born on December 21, 1956, in Helena, Ark., to Bob and Betty Jean Johnston. He graduated from Elaine High School in 1974. On April 7, 1979, Floyd married the love of his life, Lisa Johnston. Together, they built a beautiful life with many memories, friends, and family.

If Floyd wasn’t working, you could find him with his family. He was the definition of a “family man.” Most men retire and have hobbies, but if asked, Floyd would tell you about a recent event or the next event he was planning on attending for one of his grandchild­ren. Floyd lived for his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lisa Ann Johnston; his daughter, Jennifer Whittingto­n and her husband Brad Whittingto­n; his son, Jacob Johnston and his wife, Carol Johnston; Jonathan Daniels and his wife, Monica Daniels; four grandchild­ren that he cherished more than anything, Riley (16) and Chloe (14) Whittingto­n; Owen (12) and Grace (seven) Johnston; and a host of family, friends, and neighbors that he loved dearly.

Floyd was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bob and Betty Johnston; brother, Larry Johnston; Father-in-law, D.G. Daniels; nephew, Matt Daniels; niece, Nicole Gilbert; and sisterin-law, Kaye Daniels.

Services will be held, Saturday, February 25, 2023, at New Life Church in the Student Center; 8000 Crystal Hill Rd, North Little Rock, Ark., 72118. Visitation with family will start at 10 a.m., with a Celebratio­n of Life starting at 11 a.m.
