VAN BUREN — Doyle Eugene Autry,

87 of Van Buren, Ark., was born July 24, 1935, in Crabtree, Ark., to Garner & Etta Autry. He passed away on April 12, 2023, in a Fort Smith hospital.

He graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1953, and his career was in food sales management with Frito-Lay, Keebler & Archway. He was a member of Heritage Methodist Church in Van Buren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a granddaugh­ter, Betsy Shook Dennis; three brothers, Garner Autry Jr, Aubrey Autry, and Lonnie Autry; three sisters, Emily Ewing, Ann Herron, and Belle Gregory.

Survivors are his wife of almost 70 years, Mary Beth Autry; a son, Larry Autry (Meleesa) of Jacksonvil­le, Fla.; two daughters, Debbie Marsh (Rick) & Rhonda Shook (Darrell) all of Van Buren; three grandsons, Travis Shook (Summer) of Muldrow, Okla., Eric Marsh (Shea) of Alma, Ark., & Pierce Autry (Courtney) of Irving, Texas; four granddaugh­ters, Emily Marsh, Ellyn Kozal (Jeremy), Erin Brown (Joey) all of Van Buren, and Dr. Blake Martz (Cody) of Jacksonvil­le, Fla.; and sixteen great-grandchild­ren, Braxton, Baylor, and Kade Shook, Luke Dennis, Cooper, Caroline & Cal Marsh, Levi & Vivi Kozal, Autry Kay, Parker L., Jude & Georgia Brown, Parker C. and Preston Autry, & Rhett Martz; and many nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearer­s will be Mr. Autry’s grandsons and great-grandsons.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 1 p.m, at Heritage Methodist Church, 1604 Pointer Trail, Van Buren, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.
