Linda Carolyn Puckett

Linda Carolyn Puckett, 78, of Grady, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born February 7, 1945, in Grady to John and Annie Seals Lovette.

Mrs. Linda was reared and educated in Grady High School. She worked as a CNA at Southeast Arkansas Area Agency on Aging.

Linda was someone who enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it be cooking for them or spending time spoiling and loving her grandchildren. She also loved to travel. Her last trip was to Gatlinburg with her family for her birthday. She loved to write and had some of her works published. Linda also enjoyed tracing her family tree by being an accomplished genealogist. Some of her favorite things to do included civil war reenactments, Halloween and Christmas decorations (especially nutcrackers), gardening, and spending time in her yard.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Puckett (Karen); daughter, Rhonda Gill (Ricky); daughter-in-law, Tiffany Puckett; three grandchildren, Preslie Smith (Cody), Chris Puckett and Steven Puckett; one great-grandchild, Lee Smith; sister, Pat Milligan; cousin and lifelong best friend, Sid Seals; and loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 59 years, Joseph Puckett; son, Todd Puckett; brothers, JB Lovette and Jack Lovette; and sisters, Della McDonald, Retha Kelley, and Ruth Swayzee.

Visitation will be held 1012 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son. A graveside service will be private.
