MARGARET (BOGAN) TULLIS KEETER,

-

a beloved resident of Little Rock (formerly of Russellville and El Dorado), gracefully entered the gates of Heaven on May 24, 2023. Her heart rejoiced as she reunited with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Margaret, born on June 2, 1924, in Russellville, Ark., was the cherished daughter of the late Odessa (Whorton) and Clyde Bogan.

Margaret was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Russellville, where she found solace and strength in her faith. Her profound love for her family knew no bounds, as she held them close to her heart. In her leisure time, Margaret found joy in tending to flowers, honing her culinary skills, and exploring the aisles of shops. Her fondest memories were forged during card games and Bingo sessions with her dear friends. Her affection for dogs was immense, and she longed to provide each one with a nurturing home.

Preceding Margaret in death were her parents and her loving husband, George Keeter. She is survived by her daughters, Pat (Chet) Blackmon, Doris (Bill) Lawrence, Linda (Wayne) Perrin, and her cherished grandchildren, Chris (Heather) Blackmon, Lindsey Lawrence, Court (Lindsey) Perrin, and Cody (Lindsey) Perrin. Additionally, Margaret leaves behind several adored great-grandchildren.

A solemn funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 30, at 2 p.m., at Humphrey Funeral Home, situated at 2801 W. Main St. in Russellville. Following the service, Margaret will find eternal rest in Oaklawn Cemetery, also located in Russellville. The honorable duty of pallbearers will be carried out by Chris Blackmon, Bill Lawrence, Aaron McNeil, Wayne Perrin, Court Perrin, and Cody Perrin.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church at 304 South Commerce, Russellville, Ark. 72801. Margaret’s memory will be perpetuated through the support of her beloved church community.
