SPRINGDALE — Frank Leo Grohoski,

beloved son, brother, friend, and military veteran, passed away peacefully on June 9th 2023. He was born in Little Rock, Ark., to Alexander Francis Grohoski and Leocadie Cambre Grohoski.

Frank received his education at Little Rock Catholic High School, where he laid the foundation for a life of learning and personal growth. He furthered his education at the University of Arkansas, where he graduated and became a proud member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

During his time at the University, Frank also excelled in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). Following his graduation, Frank answered the call to serve his country and joined the military.

He had an illustriou­s career in the United States Army Reserve, rising to the rank of Colonel before his retirement.

Frank’s military service took him to various locations, but he held a special fondness for Europe, particular­ly Germany, where he developed an appreciati­on for their bread and beer. Upon returning to the United States, Frank pursued a career as an insurance executive at Rebsamen and Associates in Little Rock.

He demonstrat­ed exceptiona­l profession­alism and dedication in his work. Outside of his profession­al life, Frank cherished his time spent with friends during weekly poker nights. He had a deep love for his feline companions, as well as his extended family, with whom he shared countless cherished memories.

Frank is survived by his loving sisters, Linda Dollins and Janet Ousterhout, and numerous other family members who will continue to cherish his memory.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Circle of Life Hospice team, particular­ly his nurse Roseann, for their compassion­ate care and support.

Frank Leo Grohoski will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of dedication, love, and service to his country and family will continue to inspire and resonate with those whose lives he touched.
