■ Zamip Patel, a urologist of Orlando, was fined $7,236 by the Florida Department of Health and ordered to a complete a risk management course for removing a “hemorrhagic and inflamed cyst” instead of the patient’s right kidney during a June 2021 operation.
■ Marianne Williamson, a Democratic presidential candidate, told a Michigan audience that she “will do a chiropractic adjustment on this country” if elected as the commander in chief, pledging to right the U.S. ship “headed for an iceberg.”
■ Albert Edwards, 24, was arrested on murder, robbery and gun possession in connection with the fatal shooting of a Queens smoke shop worker during a stickup that garnered $100 in cash and $50 worth of THC and tobacco products, police said.
■ Kirby King, a Missouri man now in his late 60s, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, nearly 40 years after a 22-year-old woman was strangled with cord and dumped in the woods of St. Clair, authorities said.

■ Zhi Alan Cheng, a 33-year-old gastroenterologist, was arraigned and pleaded innocent on charges of sexually abusing three of his patients at New York-Presbyterian Queens hospital and raping three other women inside his apartment in New York City’s Queens borough.
■ Charles Gregory, 25, who had been missing for nearly two days, was rescued off the Florida coast, 12 miles from St. Augustine, after a Coast Guard crew spotted him sitting in his partially submerged boat.
