a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on August 7, 2023. Joe was born on December 16, 1938, in Macon, Miss. Joe’s journey began in Lambert High School in Lambert, Miss. After completing high school, Joe pursued higher education at Delta State University. Joe also had a strong sense of duty towards his country. He joined the Army National Guard and served with honor during his time in service. During his professional life, Joe found his calling in the field of manufacturing as an industrial engineer. His career spanned many decades. He retired at the age of 61. Joe’s love for sports shone brightly throughout his life. As a young man, he excelled as a multisport athlete. However, it was golf that captured Joe’s heart as an adult. In addition to golf, Joe held a deep passion for football. For over six decades, he ardently supported the Ole Miss Rebels football team. Joe’s unwavering loyalty made him a true Rebel through and through.
