LIBERTY HILL, Texas — Jacob Fredrick Brantley of Liberty Hill, Texas,
born November 27, 1987, in Little Rock, Ark., passed away unexpectedly September 20, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy of genuine love and enduring friendships. Jacob navigated many twists and turns in his life, from rollercoaster golf games to a budding passion for woodworking. An avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan, Jacob’s enthusiasm was infectious.
His academic journey culminated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, an achievement that filled his family with pride. At the time of his passing, he was employed as a mechanical engineer.
Jacob is survived by the love of his life, Sandy, and their two loyal dogs, Remi and Ellie. His deep love for family extended to his parents, Fred and Helen, his grandfather Wayne Hall, his brother Caleb and wife Laurel, and his sister Hannah. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Marsha Brantley, and his grandmother, Nancy Hall. The unique bond he shared with his family will forever be cherished.
An adventurer from a young age, Jacob rode a bicycle without training wheels at two years old, still in diapers. His love for adrenaline-packed fun later evolved into executing front wheelies on his motorcycle. Beyond his adventurous streak, he was the go-to chef at family barbecues.
Empathy came naturally to Jacob. He had a knack for knowing who needed help and what needed to be done. His goofy humor, practical jokes, happy spirit, and sweet heart made him a friend to all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, the love and joy Jacob brought into our lives will forever live on in our hearts. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 24th on his grandfather’s property at 832 Pratt Loop in El Dorado, Ark., under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapel, with interment following at Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers are Caleb Brantley, Ben Hall, Lewis Hall, Luke Hall, Adam Maddox, and Joe Cotten.
